This is a repost from last year. The lovely company that I helped went from almost closure with a D grade listing from the local council to a B listing. Well done guys! That's pretty good for a 4 hour teaching and sorting session. Loved every minute of the hectic rushed trip. But just goes to show you, where there's a will there's a way.
If you're in the food business and you need any help with your food safety issues please let me know. I really can help you. I've just got back from Queenstown (I'm based in Christchurch) and I got to meet the most lovely group of young people, who were just trying to get their food business, food compliant and get their D grading from the local Council, upgraded. They wanted to implement and make sense of their Food Control Plan. They had received a bad report from their verification visit and wanted to fix it. I think that says a lot about their character. They wanted to make it work. I put together their training plan. Set-up and put in place some good operating practices and procedures, fixed their records to make it easier to implement and ran a Food Safety training course for them and all their staff, all in under 4 hours. The appreciation of all of them by the time I left was so lovely. Really glad I went to see them. #lovemyjob
