This certification tells your customers that you take food safety and food safety procedures seriously. In this crazy time, they really want to be assured that it's safe to eat at your place and that your staff are fully trained and are COVID-19 aware.

 

The course has 6 learning Modules with an accompanying handout to guide you through the course.  There will be a short quiz at the end of each module to test your knowledge.

 

I have added an extra section to cover COVID-19.  This is to make sure that all staff are fully aware of the virus and how it changes in-house procedures.

 

On completion of ALL 6 Modules and answering ALL quiz questions correctly, you will be awarded a Food Safety with COVID-19 Awareness Training certificate. I also award a Compliance poster to let your customers know that you and your staff are fully trained and are COVID-19 aware.

Once you've been through each module there will be a short quiz for you or your staff to take.

This enables me to ensure you've taken on board what has been learned from each module.

 

Once each quiz has been completed and passed successfully, a Food Safety Certificate will be awarded and sent.

Q. What level is this course aimed at?

A. This course is a basic food safety training course that is aimed at and is essential for, everyone that works in the food industry e.g. kitchen staff, delivery staff, front of house staff, cleaners etc.

Q. How many attempts do I have to sit the quiz?

A. You can only sit the quiz 3 times and then you will have to re-enrol on the course again.

Q. How in-depth does the course cover regarding food safety?

A. This course covers all the basic elements you need to work in a kitchen e.g. hand sanitization, personal hygiene, cleaning, and sanitizing areas and workspaces, allergens awareness, hazard contaminates, cross-contaminations, the danger zone and 2/4 hour rule, chilling food, heating food, cleaning and sanitizing, using safe practices, staff sickness procedures, customer complaints, and COVID-19 awareness.

Q. Can I let my friend join the course as well and use my log in?

 

A. No I’m afraid not that breaches our terms and conditions.  Your friend will have to pay for and enrol on the course to gain certification.
